Responsibilities:
  1. Performance and subject matter expert in analytical techniques related to finished goods release testing, in accordance with SOPs, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  2. Lead and troubleshoot technical and instrumental queries across the analytical chemistry department.
  3. Serve as the first point of contact for analytical queries, technical enquiries, or escalations within the department.
  4. Proactively collaborate with Production, Technical, and Manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues arising from customer complaints and internal incidents. Facilitate investigations and resolution of related quality issues.
  5. Identify and implement improvement opportunities across the quality department and operational facilities.
  6. Work independently with decisiveness and initiative where appropriate.
  7. Perform statistical analyses to identify trends and drive improvement programs.
  8. Resolve complex technical objectives and problems, exercising considerable latitude.
  9. Continuously seek to enhance efficiency of procedures and processes without compromising quality.
  10. Perform other related duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.

Experience:

Extensive analytical experience, with a solid understanding of scientific principles. Proven experience operating and troubleshooting HPLC and ICP-MS/OES systems, as well as method development and validation.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team and interact with all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of ISO 13485 and Quality Management Systems.

Contacts:

Collaborate extensively with all departments within operations. Communicate with customers and external laboratories as required.

Working Conditions:

Work in an analytical lab environment. May involve sampling of raw materials and WFI, which includes moving boxes and pallets.
