Engineer - Remediation. Location: Offices in Cardiff, Warrington, or Theale (UK-wide travel required). Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + allowances + benefits. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Start Date: Immediate.

The Role

We’re looking for Engineers to join the SAR Operations team. This is a hands-on, site-based position where you’ll be working outdoors and supporting project teams to deliver safe, high-quality remediation projects across the UK.

  • Supervising site activities and subcontractors
  • Mobilising and maintaining remediation equipment
  • Supporting project delivery in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards
  • Carrying out site checks, recording accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance
  • Assisting with the deployment, operation, and maintenance of remediation systems
  • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
  • Travelling regularly and staying away during the week (occasional Sunday night travel; early Friday finishes)
What We’re Looking For
  • Ideally, experience in remediation or environmental engineering
  • We also welcome candidates from technical / mechanical engineering backgrounds who are keen to move into remediation
  • Willingness to work outdoors, and be part of a team
  • Flexible with regular UK travel and overnight stays
  • Strong focus on Health & Safety
  • Good IT, organisational, and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
