Position: Mechanical Engineer (Plumber)

Location: HMP The Mount, Bovingdon, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 0NZ

Salary: £41,000 per annum + 5% shift allowance

Contract: Permanent, full-time, 39 hours/week

We are seeking a level 3 qualified Plumber to join our team at HMP The Mount, a Category C & Adult/Male prison. Join a supportive team working Monday to Sunday to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues in various trades, contributing to a safe and secure environment. We encourage those with relevant qualifications and experience to apply and help us promote rehabilitation and positive change.

Qualifications and experience required:

• C&G 6189 Plumbing and domestic heating - Level 3
• C&G 5962 certificate in Plumbing (Advanced craft)
• C&G 6019 Mechanical Engineering services (plumbing)

• C&G 214 Engineering systems maintenance
