Are you looking to join a skilled and professional engineering team, maintaining and repairing a modern, diverse fleet? We’re looking for a qualified mechanic or technician with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) to join us as an Engineer at our Plymouth depot.

Our Plymouth depot operates a diverse fleet of 100 vehicles, including single-deck and double-deck buses as well as coaches, providing vital transport across the Devon network.

What does the role involve?

As an Engineer at our Plymouth depot, you'll play a key role in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Whether it's performing inspections, diagnosing faults, or carrying out major component changes, you'll help ensure our passengers get a smooth and reliable journey every day.

You'll also maintain accurate records of all work completed, ensuring compliance with company and legal safety standards. Working closely with colleagues and supervisors, you'll contribute to a positive and professional workshop environment.

A valid driving licence is required, and a PCV licence is desirable.

The successful candidate will be subject to a probationary period.
