Job Title: Engineering Lecturer

Location: Birmingham

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £25-£40 per hour

Full-time, 37 hours per week (some remote work)

We are seeking a committed Engineering Lecturer to support departments such as Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering at levels 1-3.

Responsibilities

• Teach engineering courses and apprenticeships to students of various levels
• Deliver high-quality education and assessment in engineering disciplines
• Support students to progress into further education or employment

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant Engineering Qualifications (Degree, Level 3 or equivalent)
• DBS clearance (or willing to undergo DBS check and join the update service)
• Strong industry experience and knowledge in engineering
• CAVA Level 3 Assessor Qualification
• Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and E-portfolio systems (Smart Assessor) is advantageous
• Willingness to work towards an Assessor and Verification award (e.g., TAQA, A1, or V1)
• Minimum Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or equivalent
