Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited in Bristol is seeking an Engineer – Heating Systems responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing domestic and commercial air source and ground source heat pumps. You will diagnose faults and perform timely repairs to ensure system reliability.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating, and ideally BPEC Level 3 ASHP; F-Gas qualifications are advantageous. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating is required.
• BPEC Level 3 Air Source Heat Pump qualification is desirable.
• Experience with repair, servicing and maintaining air source/ground source heat pump systems is preferred.
• F-Gas qualifications and G3 Unvented Water certificate would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service domestic/commercial air source and ground source heat pumps.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete service reports, timesheets, and technical documentation accurately and within deadlines.

The role of the Engineer – Heating Systems will involve

• Engineer position dealing with the install, maintenance and servicing of domestic/commercial air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently

The ideal applicant will be an Engineer – Heating Systems with:

• Must have at least an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
• Ideally have BPEC Level 3 Air Source Heat Pump qualification
• Ideally have experience with the repair, servicing and maintaining of air source heat pump systems
• F-Gas qualifications and G3 Unvented Hot Water certificate would be highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance, and best practices
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to client sites
