Job Title: Engineer – Electrical Engineering (Control & Instrumentation)

Location:

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Working to recognised industry standards to produce innovative, high quality software products.
  2. Working within a multi-disciplined team, utilising a variety of tools and programming languages, engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle.
  3. Engaging during assurance and review activities ensuring that all required configuration, release and documentation activities have been produced in accordance with the relevant standards.
  4. Translating requirements into software designs, implementing and testing solutions, and managing integration, configuration, release, and deployment of the product.
Your skills and experiences:
  1. Degree in Software Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering or a related subject.
  2. Knowledge of one or more software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  3. Awareness of Siemens TIA Portal.

The Control Systems Software team:

BAE Systems Submarines is expanding, with a new office in Coventry. We support national underwater superiority through major submarine programs, involving system design, build, and support services, working closely with stakeholders including the Ministry of Defence.
