Exciting Opportunity: Engineer (Development and Water Management) Needed in SE England


Are you a talented Engineer with a passion for innovative water management and drainage solutions? My client is seeking an exceptional individual to join their dynamic team as an Engineer (Development and Water Management) for an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, delivering designs across highways, property, and development in respect to flood management and drainage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake highway drainage design to DMRB standards for ETE project work
  • Manage LLFA/ S278/S38/S106 projects, including design and checking of designs
  • Design foul and surface water drainage to Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption standards
  • Provide specialist design of small packaged sewage treatment plants and drainage fields/mounds/outfalls
  • Prepare contracts in SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats
  • Utilise AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS software proficiently
Qualifications and Experience:
  • RQF Level 4-6 in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven track record in drainage design, with experience in the areas mentioned above
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS software
  • Desirable: Experience in highway design using Manual for Streets/ DMRB
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
