A little more about your role…

Working within small teams to support the production of designs, drawings, and specifications for planning/technical applications and construction.

  • Managing multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
  • Providing project management support, including design and engineering advice, leading to planning applications and construction drawings.
  • Seeking an enthusiastic Engineer based in our Leeds office.

The Leeds office is centrally located with easy access to transportation, food outlets, and green spaces. It offers opportunities to work with diverse clients and projects across Yorkshire and beyond, including:

  • Major infrastructure developments like Sizewell C and High Speed 2.
  • Highways and civil engineering services from feasibility to detailed design.
  • Drainage, earthworks, utilities, and highway designs for various developments.
  • Public realm improvement works to enhance urban streetscapes and promote sustainable, pedestrian, and cycle-friendly spaces.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
  • A civil engineering degree or HNC in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Post-graduate experience in civil engineering environments.
  • Understanding of drainage and highway design principles, with proficiency in software like Infodrainage, WINDES, Civils 3D, or PDS.
  • Experience applying design guidance such as DMRB, Manual for Streets, and local authority standards.
  • Ability to prepare designs, flood risk assessments, SUDs, and contract documentation.
  • Skills in contributing to masterplans, site appraisals, reports, calculations, and drawings.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
  • Experience working with senior and junior staff in design production.
  • Clarity in instructions, quality checks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Preferably from a consultancy or development background.
  • Eligibility for security vetting for projects requiring Baseline Personal Security Standard.
