Job Description:

Plant Engineers - We have excellent engineer vacancies requiring proactive maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of machinery within a specified area. Equipment includes hydraulic excavators, articulated haulers, wheeled loaders, dozers, rollers, crushers, and screens. Positions are available both workshop-based and mobile. We seek a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our established team and meet the following criteria:

  1. NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or equivalent
  2. Product knowledge on Cat, Volvo, Finlay, Gipo, Metso
  3. Strong diagnostic experience, electrical and hydraulic, including aftertreatment
  4. Ability to use manufacturer diagnostic equipment (Cat ET, Volvo Tech Tool)
  5. IT literacy
  6. Positive attitude towards Health & Safety
  7. Ability to complete detailed risk assessments and method statements
  8. Mentor junior engineers and apprentices
  9. Communicate effectively with onsite managers regarding requirements and breakdowns
  10. Compile parts lists using manufacturer platforms (Cat SIS, Volvo Prosis)
  11. Lead complex multi-engineer tasks
  12. Work independently or as part of a team
  13. Experience in quarry operations
  14. Team player with excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Desirable: Slinger/signaller, MEWP, Confined Space Training
