Job summary

ComXps is seeking a professional to support international defence programmes, delivering IS/maintenance projects while collaborating with Defence partners. The role requires clear communication and a delivery-focused mindset, supported by a background in engineering and defence delivery.

The position operates in a hybrid/remote setup with occasional Bristol attendance and periodic overseas travel to establish and sustain cross-border delivery with partners and establishments.

Qualifications

• Experience on international programmes with Defence Industrial Partners.
• UK Defence In Service Support and maintenance delivery experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working in a project environment delivering outcomes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Engineering/Defence Delivery background with understanding of the delivery organisation.

This role is Inside IR35.

Clearance: SC

Contract Length:ASAP – 30/06/2027

Location:Majority of working in hybrid and remote. Regular attendance at Bristol desirable to align with Team working practices. Requirement to support overseas travel periodically throughout the year (other establishments and US/Australian Government establishments)

Essential Experience / Skills Requirement

• Experience of working on international programmes and delivering with Defence Industrial Partners
• Previous experience of UK Defence In Service Support and delivery of Maintenance
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with working within a project and delivering project outcomes.
• Able to use Microsoft tools including Word, Excel & Power point.
• Engineering and Defence Delivery background with an understanding of how the delivery organisation is set up.

Desirable Experience / Skills Requirement

• Producing and managing project artifacts and project MI
• Familiar with P6 or a similar project management tool
• Familiar with the operation and updating of JIRA
