Job summary

BauWatch Group is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain CCTV and towers across client sites, with nationwide travel when required. The role emphasizes safety, quality and customer-focused service.

The ideal candidate will have CCTV installation/commissioning experience, SSAIB/NSI accreditation, and relevant licences. A proactive, detail-oriented engineer who can work across multiple sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience working as a CCTV or systems Engineer.
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation and commissioning.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove, maintain and repair CCTV systems in line with company standards.
• Carry out full system commissioning and handover to the client.
• Travel to customer sites and stay away from home when required.
• Liaise professionally with clients and site managers.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.

As a Security Systems Engineer you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, service & maintenance, across a range of client sites and when required nationwide. As a Security Systems Engineer you will be responsible for installation, commissioning, service & maintenance, across a range of client sites and when required nationwide. Required

You will be required to install, remove, maintain and repair our temporary, rapid deployment and fixed CCTV and towers systems in line with Bauwatch standards. This includes:

• Support overall site security by upholding best practice and proactively identifying improvements.
• Transport and collect equipment, materials and assets as required for site works.
• Report unsafe acts, near misses and positive observations, contributing to a strong safety culture.
• Install, maintain and repair CCTV systems in line with relevant standards.
• Carry out full system commissioning and ensure successful handover to the client
• Attend sites to finalise installation works and complete commissioning activities when required
• Work collaboratively with other engineers on full CCTV installations when required
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders
• Travel to customer sites and remain flexible with overnight stays when required
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and site access requirements

Job Requirements

Who We're Looking For

A proactive, experienced engineer who works well in a fast-paced environment who offer:

• Demonstrable experience working as a CCTV or systems Engineer
• Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation and commissioning
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and stay away from home when required
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Professional, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
• Organised and capable of managing workloads to meet deadlines
• The confidence and professionalism to advise senior colleagues when issues need urgent action
• T emporary Fire Systems alongside the other services
• Flexible attitude towards travel and flexibility is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• ECS / FESS Card
• Experience working within SSAIB / NSI accredited organisation
• Experience with intruder alarms, access control, door entry installations
• IPAF / PASMA licence
