Job summary

BauWatch Group is seeking a CCTV Systems Engineer to install, commission and maintain CCTV solutions across the UK. You will work with our engineers and liaise with clients to ensure successful handover to the customer.

The role requires extensive travel, staying away from home when needed, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. ECS/FESS and IPAF/PASMA are desirable qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with CCTV systems installation and commissioning.
• Ability to install, maintain and repair CCTV systems to relevant standards.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Support site security by upholding best practice and identifying improvements.
• Transport and collect equipment and assets for site works.
• Report unsafe acts and contribute to safety culture.
• Install, maintain and commission CCTV systems and handover to client.
• Attend sites to finalise installation works and complete commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with other engineers on full CCTV installations.
• Liaise professionally with clients and site managers.
• Travel to customer sites and accommodate overnight stays as required.
• Ensure work complies with health & safety and company procedures.

Who We're Looking For:

• Demonstrable experience working as a CCTV or systems Engineer

• Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation and commissioning

• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and stay away from home when required

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Professional, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills

• Organised and capable of managing workloads to meet deadlines

• The confidence and professionalism to advise senior colleagues when issues need urgent action

• Temporary Fire Systems alongside the other services

• Flexible attitude towards travel and flexibility is essential for this role.

Qualifications:

• ECS / FESS Card

• Experience working within SSAIB / NSI accredited organisation

• Experience with intruder alarms, access control, door entry installations

• IPAF / PASMA licence

Job Requirements:

• Install, maintain and repair CCTV systems in line with relevant standards.

• Carry out full system commissioning and ensure successful handover to the client.

• Attend sites to finalise installation works and complete commissioning activities when required.

• Work collaboratively with other engineers on full CCTV installations when required.

• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders.

• Travel to customer sites and remain flexible with overnight stays when required.

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and industry regulations.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety and site access requirements.
