Engineer

Location: Lincoln

We are an exciting and dynamic food business, and due to acquisition and growth, we are currently recruiting an Engineer. Are you looking for the security of the food industry? We are happy to consider engineers from a range of industries.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a team ensuring the smooth running of the factory by resolving predominantly mechanical and electrical breakdowns, delivering maintenance, and driving improvements.

The role includes:

  • Carrying out PPM onsite with a proactive approach to planned maintenance and high PPM output
  • Performing repairs to plant and equipment during production, effectively and efficiently, either alone or as part of a team
  • Achieving plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance
  • Implementing improvement work on machinery and site operations
  • Managing engineering time effectively to ensure low downtime

You should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years engineering experience
  • Hands-on ability; this is not a theoretical engineering role
  • Multi-skilled with a formal engineering qualification to ONC, NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical disciplines, or a nationally recognized engineering apprenticeship
