Job summary

Chongie Entertainment UK Limited is seeking a field-based Technician to keep gaming machines across our venues in London and the South East. You will diagnose faults, service validators and cash systems, perform portable appliance testing, and relocate machines for new venues, reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence; the 40-hour rota includes Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience servicing electrical or electronic equipment.
• Willingness to work every Saturday and Sunday.
• Portable appliance testing qualification is useful and can be funded if not held.

Salary: £30,000 per annum, plus car allowance
Hours: 40 hours per week, worked on a rota that includes every Saturday and Sunday

ABOUT THE ROLE: Chongie Entertainment operates eighteen Adult Gaming Centers across the South East under the Little Vegas and Little Macau brands, and the estate is still growing. The Technician keeps the machines and equipment across those venues working.

The role is field based, reporting to the Head of Engineering. You will travel between venues and be issued with a company phone and laptop.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
– Diagnosing faults and repairing gaming machines across the estate
– Servicing note validators, coin mechanisms, hoppers and cash counting equipment
– Planned maintenance, and attending venues when equipment fails
– Portable appliance testing across the venues
– Installing and relocating machines, including at new venue openings

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You do not need gaming industry experience. We are open to candidates from electrical or electronic maintenance, vending, amusement, ATM, white goods or any similar field service background.
– Practical experience of servicing or repairing electrical or electronic equipment
– A methodical approach to fault finding
– A full UK driving licence
– Willingness to work every Saturday and Sunday A portable appliance testing qualification is useful, but we will fund this if you do not already hold one.

THE HOURS
This is a forty hour rota that includes every Saturday and Sunday, with days off during the week.
Our venues are busiest at weekends and that is when the role is needed. It is a fixed feature of the job rather than an occasional requirement.
