A leading manufacturing company in the UK is seeking a Parts Cleaner to work night shifts. The role involves cleaning and preparing mechanical parts in a hands-on environment. Candidates must have basic mechanical skills and be ready to work in a physically demanding setting while passing a drug and alcohol test.
Job title: Parts Cleaner (nights)
Job location: Burton upon Trent
Shifts: Days only.
Payrate DOE - uplift for night shift.
Hours per week: 44. Hours: 7am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 1pm on Friday.
Duration: Contract / temp to perm - 6 months +
Start date: immediate.
Client Summary:
Leading manufacturer and front line supplier of powertrain products based in the UK and Ireland. Areas of expertise include Engine Overhaul, final Drive Overhaul and locomotive refurbishment.
Position Summary:
Cleaning and preparation of engine, transmission and raft parts using manual tools, dual acting sander (DA) scrapers etc.
Person Profile/Experience:
* Someone from a basic mechanical background,
* Familiar with hand tools.
* Someone happy to work in what can be a dirty environment repetitive environment.
* Clean drug and alcohol test.
