Job Description:

RENNtech, a global leader in high-performance automotive engineering, is seeking an experienced engine builder to join our team in Preston, Lancashire. Founded by former AMG North America Technical Director Hartmut Feyhl, RENNtech is known for pushing the limits of performance across both street and race platforms.

This role is ideal for a precision-driven professional with a deep understanding of internal combustion engines and a passion for high-horsepower builds. Responsibilities include assembling and rebuilding high-performance and race engines—including Mercedes-AMG platforms like M113, M156, M178, M275, and more—using best practices for blueprinting, measurement, and clean-room protocols. Experience with forged internals, high boost applications, and dry sump systems is a plus.

The right candidate will have at least five years of professional engine building experience, demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a performance-driven team. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work inside a clean, climate-controlled facility on some of the most powerful builds in the industry.

Applicants should apply with their resume and examples of past work. The ideal candidate must be willing to relocate to Preston, Lancashire.

Minimum requirements include:

  1. At least five years of professional engine building experience
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  3. Willingness to relocate to Preston, Lancashire

Benefits include 401k, health insurance, sick days, and holidays.
