Race Engine Builder / Powertrain Technician
Essex, GBP

Unknown recruitment is working with a leading Motorsport Powertrain consultancy to recruit 2x experienced Engine Builders, preferably with current Motorsport powertrain experience. The engine builders will be based at their facility in Essex. Due to their continual success and growth, they are looking for proactive, talented individuals to join and expand the team for the future.

The Engine Builder will work in the engine and component department, repairing, stripping, and overhauling advanced high-performance, fuel-efficient, low-mass race engines.

Race Engine Builder requirements:

• Previous Motorsport/Formula 1 race engine building, overhauling, and repairing experience is preferred; ex Honda, Mercedes, or Renault F1 experience would be advantageous.
• Fully competent in engine strip, build, and repair using the latest information and equipment.
• Ability to provide worldwide track support when necessary.
• Experience in installing and removing engines on the dyno, including setup and support if required.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to use own initiative.
