Job summary

St Germans Primary School is seeking a part-time Wraparound Care Assistant to deliver wraparound care for pupils aged 3-11. The role runs 11 hours and 15 minutes per week during term-time, 3:15 to 5:30, Monday to Friday, until 31 August 2027 (or sooner if the substantive post-holder returns).

• Experience planning and delivering engaging play activities for children.
• Ability to create a welcoming, stimulating and safe environment.
• Safeguarding standards and procedures knowledge or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide wraparound care from 3:15 to 5:30, Monday to Friday.
• Support children in engaging play and social interaction.
• Foster positive interactions with parents and carers.
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures and complete necessary checks.
