Job summary

The Supply Register is recruiting Science Lecturers to support West Lancashire College on a flexible, bank basis. You will deliver engaging science lessons across Applied Science and A Level, including practical sessions, while preparing learners for exams and coursework.

Ideal candidates will have a science degree, a teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one), strong lab skills, and an enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one. The role supports safeguarding and uses flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Science-related subject is required.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
• Experience with A Level or BTEC Science is desirable.
• Strong practical/lab skills are essential.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) is required.
