Protocol is seeking a Science Lecturer to join our partner FE colleges across London. You will deliver engaging science teaching, plan and assess lessons, and support learners to reach their academic and career ambitions.

The role requires a degree in science and a relevant teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one, with experience across FE, Sixth Form or related educational settings. Strong communication and dedication to learner success are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a Science subject is required.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience teaching within FE, Sixth Form, HE or related setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills are essential.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding learner outcomes.

As student demand for STEM programmes continues to increase, colleges are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Science Lecturers to support the delivery of high-quality education across a range of courses.

We welcome applications from specialists in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Applied Science, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, and related disciplines.

The Role

As a Science Lecturer, you will play a key role in helping learners achieve their academic and career ambitions. You will deliver engaging lessons, support student progression, and contribute to a positive learning environment that promotes achievement and inclusion.

What We're Looking For

Desirable

• Experience teaching BTEC, T Level, A Level or Access to HE programmes.
• Industry experience within a scientific, laboratory or research environment.
• Experience with practical laboratory delivery and assessment.
