Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a Qualified Primary Teacher for a full-time contract in Eltham, London. You will deliver high-quality lessons to pupils aged 5–11, aligned with the national curriculum, while assessing progress and providing feedback.

The role requires safeguarding commitment, effective communication with families, and collaboration with school staff. PAYE rates apply, with standard school hours and some after-school duties.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in England.
• Degree in Education or related subject is highly desirable.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons across the primary curriculum that engage and motivate pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupils’ progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Create and maintain a safe, supportive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.
• Provide timely and meaningful feedback to pupils to enhance their learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and welfare.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil attainment, attendance and behaviour.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the classroom and school community.
