Job summary

Aspire People are seeking experienced Primary School Day-to-Day Teaching Assistants to work in Derby and surrounding areas. The role requires Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications, at least 6 months in a school, and a current DBS on the Update Service.

You should be ready to work as part of a supportive team and inspire students daily. Ideal candidates will have strong written and spoken communication skills and a passion for helping learners thrive in class.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent for ratio purposes.
• Experience in a school setting (at least 6 months).
• Updated and active DBS on the Update Service.
• Willingness to take on a new challenge and work as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to inspire students.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering day-to-day activities in the classroom.
• Assist with pupil supervision and behavior management as required.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, engaging learning environment for all pupils.
