Job summary

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching science at Key Stage 3 and 4 in a secondary school.
• Understanding of the Curriculum for Wales is required.
• Mandatory Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging physics lessons in line with Curriculum for Wales to KS3/KS4 students.
• Provide timely feedback on student work and maintain progress records.
• Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate progress and behaviour updates with the Head of Department.
• Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
