Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons across key stages, ensuring student progress.
• Plan and prepare effective lessons with meaningful homework.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their work.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Differentiate to meet individual learning needs with TA support.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and department resources.
• Monitor progress and prepare reports for parents and school leaders.
• Support students’ pastoral development and promote high standards of behaviour.
• Participate in departmental meetings and school events.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school community.
• Promote inclusive learning with high expectations and safeguarding.
