Job summary

Step Teachers in the United Kingdom is seeking flexible Cover Supervisors to inspire learning across different secondary schools. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-prepared plans, keep pupils on task, and safeguard a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with young people, strong behaviour management, and excellent communication. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one is essential; weekly PAYE pay and

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils’ learning and engagement during cover lessons.
• Follow school policies and procedures effectively.
• Communicate professionally with staff and pupils.
• Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
