Job summary

Justteachers is seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Bradford from September 2026. This is a temporary position until Christmas, with a strong possibility of extension through to the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will teach CS across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 desirable but not essential, and will assess and report on student progress while creating an inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for ICT/Computer Science.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• DBS on update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two school-based references are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons.
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
• Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding.
• Contribute to departmental planning and resources where required.
