Job summary

Mead Vale Primary Community School in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a part-time After School Club Assistant to support a safe, engaging, and inclusive after-school provision for children aged 4–11.

Working 11 hours 45 minutes per week, Monday to Thursday 3:15pm–5:45pm and Friday 3:15pm–5:00pm, term time only, you will help plan and deliver activities, supervise pupils, collect from classrooms, and assist with snacks.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of after school activities and creative play.
• Supervise children and ensure a safe, stimulating, inclusive environment.
• Collect pupils from classrooms and assist with snacks and drinks.
• Set up, pack away, and store play equipment and resources safely.
• Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, carers and staff.
• Support attendance and departure records.
• Report safeguarding, behaviour or health and safety concerns per policy.
