Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Activities Assistant to deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities for residents in our care home, helping them enjoy a fulfilling, independent life.

Shifts are 10:00–16:00, four days a week including weekends. A full UK driving licence is required to support community outings and activities.

No prior experience is required; we welcome applicants from any background with creativity, empathy and a genuine desire to help others, with training provided.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Must have creativity and empathy to engage residents.
• Must have a full UK driving licence for outings and activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities for residents.
• Support a wide range of pastimes, social events and community outings.
• Help residents live as independently as possible and engage with family and community.
• Contribute to an entertainment and activities programme across the home.
