Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking an Activities Coordinator in Harrogate to design and deliver engaging activities for residents at Crystal Court, Pannal. The role is permanent, 30 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends. Salary is £12.77 per hour, with sponsorship not available.

You will create a warm, inclusive environment, work with families and care staff, and help residents pursue hobbies and social events to enrich daily life.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Create a warm, inclusive and social environment for all residents.
• Help residents maintain existing hobbies and discover new ones.
• Organise social events, seasonal celebrations and community involvement.
• Coordinate outings and excursions to promote wellbeing and variety.
• Collaborate with care staff and families to support holistic wellbeing.
• Record participation and feedback to ensure meaningful engagement.
