We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented legal professional to help coordinate the firm’s engagement process to support our attorneys and affiliate companies with new engagement letter creation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the engagement process, acting as one of the points of contact, organizing requests, and helpfully guiding the team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Complete conflict checks, working with the firm’s Billing department and other members of the engagement team
  • Coordinate and manage the drafting and review of firm engagement letters.
  • Draft, review and send new client/new matter forms
  • Opening new firm matters and communication to responsible attorneys and paralegals
  • Assisting in client transition process for incoming new attorneys
  • Support of the billing department as needed
  • Other duties and projects assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a legal professional
  • Knowledge of legal concepts, procedures and terminology
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work product
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to be flexible, responsive, prioritize tasks and strong time management skills a must
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization
