Overview of the Role:

Salesforce is hiring a Director, Project Management to lead large, strategically important digital transformation projects for customers. You work with senior programme leaders, solution architects, delivery managers and customer executives, and you take each project from mobilisation through to successful implementation. You join a delivery organisation that values collaboration, coaching and continuous improvement, and you build your career on high-visibility customer programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary delivery teams of project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, testers and partners, and take end-to-end accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary delivery contact for customers, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and run steering committees, project boards and governance forums.
• Establish governance and executive reporting, and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) with timely escalation. Keep integrated plans aligned to wider programme milestones.
• Manage project financials, forecasting, resource utilisation and change control. Coach and mentor Project Managers and Delivery Managers.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience delivering large-scale, technology-enabled transformation or software implementation projects with multiple delivery teams and suppliers.
• Experience leading projects with 30-100+ delivery professionals and managing dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Experience managing project governance, planning, budgets, forecasting, change control and executive reporting.
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner (Projects IN Controlled Environments), Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Project Management (AgilePM), plus experience engaging senior customer leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience delivering Salesforce or other enterprise cloud platform implementations, including CRM, case management or customer service transformation.
• Experience working in multi-supplier delivery environments, such as a consulting organisation or systems integrator.
• Familiarity with agile and hybrid delivery models, and a Scrum Master or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification.
