Engagement Delivery Director

Role Description

Salesforce Professional Services is seeking an Engagement Delivery Director who shares our vision of bringing the power of Salesforce to our customers across a diverse portfolio that includes Public Sector, Health & Life Sciences, and Business Services. Engagement Delivery Directors drive successful customer outcomes with our implementations and lead complex, enterprise, and strategic programmes of work.

Your Impact

• Build and manage large, complex teams, demonstrating excellent leadership, ensuring strong communication, and providing clarity, motivation, and direction throughout the engagement.
• Own relationships with the Customer, partners, and third-party providers from a Delivery perspective, providing leadership, advice, and guidance to ensure ongoing alignment and shared success.
• Build and nurture a high-functioning multi-stakeholder governance framework and perform programme and project management activities to ensure adherence to Salesforce methodology and governance gates.
• Be fully accountable for programme financials, reporting, and delivery health, including planning, progress review, schedule adjustments, resource utilization, and risk management.
• Facilitate requirements gathering, craft project deliverables, and assist with Salesforce documentation as needed.
• Act as an extension of the account team to extend the Salesforce footprint.

Basic Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Programme Management leading complex programmes, including managing teams of Project Managers.
• Ownership and experience with Strategic Governance Frameworks and Risk Management.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience, evaluated based on core competencies such as extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer roles, or work experience.
• Availability to be onsite with customers as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Methodology Certification such as Prince, PMP, SAFe, Scrum.
• Consulting experience with a system integrator or software vendor.
• Experience managing Salesforce implementations.
• Knowledge of managing Public Sector or Health & Life Sciences programmes.
