City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Communications Engagement and Participation Officer to develop and deliver internal and external communications for partnership strategies and projects. The role also leads on engagement with colleagues, stakeholders and the public to influence plans and ensure accessible, compliant communications.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
• CIM or CIPR qualification or equivalent/postgraduate modules in communications.
• Experience in health and social care contexts is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver internal and external communications for strategies, plans and projects.
• Lead on engagement and public participation to influence service plans and Board activities.
• Design and run events, meetings and campaigns with accessible materials and clear inputs.
• Provide training to managers and professionals on communications policies and tools.
• Manage websites and social channels, publish content and maintain brand templates.
• Coordinate with NHS, Council and partners to ensure consistent messaging.
