Job description
Overview

Teaching Personnel are working with an Alternative Provision in Daventry who are seeking to appoint an Engagement Coach on a 12 month FTC. In this role, you'll be a vital pastoral and behavioral support figure, helping students develop the self-regulation, motivation, and positive habits they need to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver daily one-on-one sessions to help students with emotional regulation, goal setting, and behavior reflection
  • Assist BTEC tutors by managing behavior and helping students stay engaged in their vocational sessions
  • Create strong, consistent relationships with students who have experienced educational trauma or instability
  • Use restorative and relational approaches to promote a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Help deliver physical activities, enrichment, and community-based learning sessions
Hours

Term-time only, 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Compensation and employment status

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
