Overview

We\'re looking for someone who\'s passionate about student support, mental health and making college a place where everyone feels safe, head and empowered.

Responsibilities
  • Support students through life\'s ups and downs with therapeutic interventions, drop-ins and group sessions
  • Help students build confidence, resilience and practical study skills
  • Work with staff, parents and external agencies to remove barriers to learning
  • Manage a caseload of students, including those with EHCPs and SEMH needs) and help them thrive
  • Advocating for wellbeing across the college, whether it\'s through events, transition support or crisis response
You will need
  • A recognsed qualification in youth work, mentoring, guidance, or a proven track record in this field
  • A calm, empathetic approach and the ability to read situations intuitively
  • Experience supporting students with mental health challenges, including anxiety, ASD and emotional-based school avoidance
  • Confidence in working with multi-agency teams and navigating complex support systems
  • A non-judgemental attitude and a genuine passions for inclusion
