Falkirk Council is seeking to recruit an Enforcement Education Officer to provide marketing and educational resources designed to deliver the aims of the Council's Litter Strategy and Litter Prevention Action Plan.

Based at Dalgrain Depot you will work with a range of internal and external partners to maximise community awareness of the Litter Strategy objectives to support and achieve behaviour change.

Your duties will include developing and delivering education materials for community use, and the co-ordination, delivery and management of communication and marketing materials to support waste minimisation and waste prevention initiatives within Council premises, businesses, educational establishments and with community groups across Falkirk. This will include social media accounts.

You should be able to work with limited supervision as part of a team and be mobile throughout the Council area.

You should have a minimum of 1 year's relevant education or marketing experience, be an enthusiastic and confident communicator and have experience of gathering data and producing reports to document progress.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
