Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Managing Consultant / Senior Manager to lead advisory and transformation in the Energy Transition & Utilities space in the UK, shaping major programmes across central markets and regulatory change.

You will bring expertise in GB energy market regulation, system operations, and cross‑sector collaboration, guiding complex change across organisations while balancing business needs with regulatory intent.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of GB energy market regulation and central markets.
• Experience with energy systems and industry participants (TOs, SOs, DNOs/DSOs) would be beneficial.
• Ability to translate policy, regulatory, market and technical developments into practical delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and assessment of technical changes to energy industry central systems.
• Coordinate implementation of industry changes from a central code body perspective with affected parties.
• Provide trusted advice to senior clients and stakeholders on regulatory frameworks and system impacts.
• Shape practical solutions to industry challenges by translating developments into delivery.
• Lead engagement, training and support for industry parties and senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous service improvement and oversee complex workstreams and multidisciplinary teams.
