Job summary

EY is expanding its Energy Transition team in the UKI region, delivering digitization, modernization, and decarbonization work for power & utilities clients across the UK, Ireland and Northern Ireland. This Manager role supports transformative engagements within a highly autonomous yet collaborative environment in Belfast.

The team covers market design, engineering implementation, data analytics, strategy, policy, and stakeholder engagement to help energy clients navigate regulatory and market

Qualifications

• Experience in a consulting firm, industry or government organisation within local, European & US markets.
• Strong analytical mindset to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• A strong academic record including a third level degree.
• Experience operating in a fast paced, multi-vendor environment.
• Passion for the energy sector, with a strong interest in utility transformation and emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support strategic consulting engagements that drive digital transformation and business strategy execution for utilities.
• Collaborate with senior client leaders to develop vision, objectives, and operating model.
• Monitor energy system requirements and develop business cases for future-proof delivery.
• Develop go-to-market materials and case studies for Energy Transition offerings.
• Deliver high-quality insights and facilitate client workshops with stakeholders.
