GlobalData in London is seeking an Analyst to join our Energy Transition team. You will contribute to ongoing market intelligence reports across technologies, geographies, and trends, using data and critical thinking to form analyst opinions.

You’ll manage projects, peer-review work, support sales conversations, and have opportunities to present at webinars and conferences. Focus areas include low-carbon hydrogen, CCUS, renewables, batteries, and decarbonization themes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience in energy research or energy services.
• Interest in Energy Transition technologies and industry trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to articulate a view.
• Excellent data manipulation and Excel visualization skills; forecasting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce well-written content delivered on time using PowerPoint and Word.
• Manipulate large datasets to draw market insights.
• Manage team projects and primary research design.
• Conduct ongoing secondary research and stay updated on industry issues.
• Respond to client and commercial team queries and assist with meetings.
• Provide analyst support to existing accounts to maximize subscription value.
• Speak at webinars and conferences.
