Job summary

Solytics Partners in London seeks a seasoned Business Analyst with strong commodities trading knowledge, especially in Energy trading (Gas, Power, LNG, Environmental products). The role collaborates with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

You will drive requirements, support solution design, coordinate SIT/UAT, and contribute to platform roadmaps while ensuring regulatory and operational controls across

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of BA experience in commodities trading or financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of Gas, Power, LNG and Environmental products.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Lead workshops and interviews to elicit needs and define acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with SDLC teams across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk and IT.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT and support training and implementation activities.
• Contribute to platform roadmaps and technology enhancement projects.
