Job description

About the role:

We are looking for Energy Storage Sales Managers to join our team. The role is responsible for working with Energy Storage System Development to achieve sales of Energy Storage products.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, explore customer project planning and market demand, and convert demand into orders.
  • Understand market product standards and demand trends, and promote product design improvements. Formulate and implement bidding strategies for pre-tendering, tendering, and post-tendering of projects.
  • Collaborate with the commercial manager to review bidding documents.
  • Assist with contract negotiations, including business terms and technical document communication.
  • Work with the commercial manager to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Support customers in resolving major project and after-sales issues, aiming to improve customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales or customer account management experience in the new energy and power system industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience with project sales, especially international bidding projects. Experience in grid-side energy storage sales is preferred.
  • Strong skills in technical discussions and commercial contract negotiations.
  • Good understanding of Energy Storage technologies is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • Proactive and result-oriented approach.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Team player and resourceful.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK frequently, with occasional international travel.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant computer skills.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
