Job summary

SP Energy Networks seeks a Lead Regulation Analyst to steer the regulatory strategy for substantial transmission investments. You will work with stakeholders across the business and regulator, shaping price controls and regulatory projects, while delivering responses to consultations and supporting regulatory framework development.

You will lead on key regulatory issues, engage external parties including Ofgem, and communicate impact and opportunities across SPEN to drive evidence-based policy

Qualifications

• Experience in economics, regulation or policy roles in energy.
• Ability to prioritise a diverse and demanding workload with initiative.
• Excellent written and oral communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex regulatory areas and lead strategic regulatory projects.
• Act as SME for key regulatory areas with high risk or opportunity.
• Provide lobbying/messages within Regulatory Strategy and advocacy plans.
• Develop and lead price control regulatory areas and submissions.
• Lead engagement with Ofgem and other external stakeholders on economics.
