Job summary

Our client is recruiting a Project Manager for a 6-month contract in Glasgow. The role is based in a remote/Glasgow setting and involves managing energy and power generation projects to deliver safely, on time and within budget, while meeting quality standards.

You will report to the Head of Project Delivery and work with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams to maximise customer satisfaction and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or higher qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' project management experience within energy/related sectors.
• Proven experience delivering power generation or construction projects.
• Technical knowledge of reciprocating engines and related systems.
• Experience with NEC3 Framework Contracts and CDM/UK Health & Safety requirements.
• Strong commercial awareness and project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy and power generation projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Manage project commercial performance and P&L for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and reporting milestones.
• Plan resources, monitor risks and progress, and manage changes.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver high satisfaction.
