A leading company in the energy sector is seeking an Energy Pricing & Regulation Analyst to monitor UK energy regulations, manage data, and support clients. This role requires experience in the energy industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in the energy industry.
  • Familiarity with UK regulated charges.

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  1. Regulatory Insight: Monitor and interpret changes in UK energy regulations, taxes, and levies; communicate updates clearly to internal teams and clients.
  2. Data Management: Maintain accurate and timely data in internal systems to support reporting and analysis.
  3. Client Support: Deliver energy tenders, budgets, and resolve queries for clients across the UK and EMEA.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations and Sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Person Specification:

  1. Ideally someone with 2-3 years of experience within the energy industry, familiar with how regulated charges work in the UK. Experience with a Supplier or other Industry participant, such as a DNO or ESO, is preferred.
  2. A degree with a mathematical background may be useful but is not essential.
  3. Knowledge of Python/VBA would be advantageous.
  4. The candidate will be part of a growing team representing World Fuel Services within the energy industry across EMEA.
  5. Proficiency in any European language is a bonus.
