International Tech Services Co in London, hybrid, seeks a Business Analyst Consultant with strong energy-pricing data experience and hands-on AI/ML exposure. Translate business needs into clear requirements and align stakeholders across business and tech to deliver valuable use cases.

You will lead discovery, document requirements, and collaborate with data/engineering teams to create actionable plans while ensuring early value through well-defined artefacts and workshops.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ Business Analyst experience in energy sector (oil, power, gas).
• Strong experience delivering pricing data projects (models, feeds, definitions, analytics).
• At least 1 year of AI/ML-related project experience (supporting use cases, data readiness).
• Proven credibility with business and technical teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead discovery to clarify goals, scope, constraints, and success metrics for energy pricing and data initiatives.
• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements using artefacts (user stories, process maps, data mappings, acceptance criteria).
• Define pricing data needs and governance with cross-functional stakeholders across oil, power, and gas contexts.
• Translate business requirements into implementable technical requirements and delivery plans with data/engineering teams.
• Shape AI/ML use cases by defining inputs/outputs and documenting assumptions for stakeholder alignment.
• Facilitate workshops and sessions, ensuring clear decisions, ownership, and follow-through.
• Communicate clearly with business and technical audiences, translating technical detail into commercial impact and vice versa.
• Deliver high-quality outputs early (clear requirements packs, aligned stakeholders, reduced ambiguity, faster delivery).
