Environ is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Pricing Analyst to join our remote team. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting energy procurement activities and collaborating with our Sales, Energy Strategy, Consulting Support, and Client Services teams. You’ll be involved in processing electricity and natural gas bids, assisting with pricing strategy, and ensuring smooth internal operations. Education and Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Early career professionals, 0-2 years of energy industry experience.
  • An interest in energy markets and a desire to learn.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and organize data effectively.
  • An ability to manage time effectively, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
  • Flexible and open to taking on new challenges and tasks.

Technical Skills:

  • Comfortable using common digital tools in a professional setting.
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new software platforms and systems.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and data analysis tools; experience with online data platforms is a plus.

Requirements:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the RFP process for dual-commodity procurement (electricity and natural gas), including information gathering, data normalization, and proposal .
  • Build and foster relationships with suppliers and internal team members.
  • Engage in contract negotiations to ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Resolve conflicts involving supplier exclusivity and channel competition.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work products while managing multiple priorities.
  • Join client calls with sales team members as needed to support discussions and learn more about client needs.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States. While we welcome applicants from across the country, preference will be given to those located in or near the Eastern Time Zone, due to team and client collaboration needs. This role follows a consistent Eastern Time schedule, with standard working hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday. Candidates are expected to be reliably available throughout these hours.
