The Role

As a Process Controller, you'll be based on site and work as part of a close-knit operations team, carrying out a mix of proactive, planned and responsive tasks to ensure our energy-from-waste processes run safely, efficiently, and compliantly. This is a role where no two days are the same-and where your actions have real impact.

You'll work within clear quality and safety frameworks and build strong working relationships across the site, helping spot and solve issues that could affect compliance, performance or environmental targets. Whether your maintaining equipment, optimising plant performance, or contributing to continuous improvement, you'll be part of something meaningful-and you'll be supported to grow across different parts of the operation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Operate & monitor our anaerobic digestion and dewatering plants, helping ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently to produce maximum biogas.
• Stay up to date with technical knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver a safe, reliable, and high-performing process.
• Complete planned and reactive tasks on time and to a high standard, using digital systems to record your work and keep things moving.
• Work as part of the wider site team to spot issues early, share ideas and contribute to improvements in performance and efficiency.
• Support site reviews and help provide information that feeds into operational and technical decisions.
• Follow safety and environmental standards carefully, helping us meet our compliance and sustainability goals.
• Gathering and reporting accurate asset performance data, especially in relation to gas output, throughput, and compliance metrics.
• Investigating process anomalies and recommending sustainable solutions to recurring issues within digestion systems.
• Working towards and maintaining an accredited qualification relevant to your role, alongside health and safety, technical and behavioural training programmes.
• Coordinating and supervising contractors on site to ensure all work is completed safely, compliantly and in line with operational standards.
