Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Commodity Risk Manager for Energy & Packaging in London. You will manage price risk, lead the global portfolio, and implement hedging strategies across energy and packaging commodities.

Qualifications

University degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
At least 5 years’ experience in physical/financial trading, commodity research, or industry CRM.
Strong numerical abilities and proficiency in Excel.
Experience with hedging and risk management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct fundamental research and analyze trends in energy, packaging and related macro markets and provide market price forecasts.
Formulate and implement a strategy to address price, duration and volatility risk exposure.
Lead the expansion of the portfolio and explore proxy hedging through related commodities.
Partner with procurement buyers and provide guidance in physical procurement, supplier negotiations, and contracting.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on markets and risk management.
Develop a strong industry network with suppliers and traders and gather intelligence from market reports.
Engage business stakeholders to communicate CRM strategy and market view.
