Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking an installer who will fit gas and power meters at residential sites, using SMETS2 or standard meters with a data logger. You’ll be largely solo but occasionally work in two-person teams.

You’ll travel from home to planned jobs in a company van, manage your own time, maintain safety, and uphold the Energy Assets brand through excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install gas and power meters at customer sites using SMETS2 or standard meters with a data logger.
• Travel from home to planned jobs each day in the company van.
• Own timekeeping and respond to emergency calls as required.
• Maintain safety for yourself and others with ongoing training and reporting unsafe situations.
• Provide strong customer service while upholding the Energy Assets brand and minimising aborts.
